Three 1-hour classes
Course Content
Class 1 – Bold Colour & Movement
Taking inspiration from a variety of beautiful birds, you will develop the ability to portray movement and pattern. From a gorgeous pheasant to birds in flight, you’ll come away with a better understanding of how to marry colour and texture to produce great work.
Class 2 – Structure & Pattern
In this class you will paint a series of brightly patterned insects, such as dragonfly and beetle. Your teacher will help you to create shine and intricate detail and you’ll explore the fascinating structures of these creatures whilst developing fantastic paintings.
Class 3 – Shape & Details
In this session your inspiration will come from two much-loved animals. You’ll practice loose brush work and learn how to portray the facial characteristics of a dog and a cat. Your teacher will help you to simplify shapes and think about composition in your work.
