EXPERIMENTING WITH DRAWING
MANDALAS | PATTERNING | PROCESS
Join us for a weekly reset with this series of Mindful Drawing sessions. These sessions are the perfect way to break up your day, combining drawing and breathing to absorb in the present moment. Your teacher will support you in centring yourself and exploring the creation of mandalas and pattern making in a safe and friendly space. You don’t need any experience to take part in these sessions and they are ideal for anyone looking for an opportunity to develop a calmer, more present frame of mind during the week.
TUESDAY 21ST SEPTEMBER – 1PM UK TIME
ENJOYING THE PROCESS – MARK MAKING & MANDALAS
This session will begin with a short breathing exercise as your teacher invites you to relax into the session. You’ll explore mark making and enjoy the guided creation of a mandala. You’ll come away from the class feeling relaxed and refreshed.
TUESDAY 28TH SEPTEMBER – 1PM UK TIME
LETTING GO – PATTERN & BREATH WORK
In this class you will connect your breath with your drawing to facilitate an absorbed state of mind. You’ll enjoy pattern making and become fully immersed in the creation of shapes with your pencil.
TUESDAY 5TH OCTOBER – 1PM UK TIME
MEDITATIVE DRAWING – PROCESS & LINE
Loose yourself in the process of creating evolving shapes and beautiful patterns. You won’t need any drawing experience at all and will be supported throughout the session by your teacher. Let go for an hour and enjoy the process of doodling pattern without any care for the end result.
You will need:
- Two Pencils – preferably 2B or softer (i.e., 3,4,5,6,7, or 8B).
