FLY TO THE SKY | OCEAN BLUE | THE GROVE
Let’s venture into the wild! Join us in this exciting series inspired by the animal kingdom. Starting with simple shapes we’ll be capturing and developing the character, form, and texture of a variety of air, land, and sea animals. These sessions are suitable for all levels with participants supported in a friendly and supportive online environment.
MONDAY 26th SEPTEMBER– 6:30PM – 7:30PM UK TIME
Fly To the Sky – Form & Character
In this session you’ll learn how to depict the form and character of wild birds. You’ll be supported in transferring the shape onto the paper and developing depth to capture the persona of these flying creatures.
MONDAY 3rd OCTOBER– 6:30PM – 7:30PM UK TIME
Ocean Blue – Smooth & Pattern
This week we’ll dive below the surface world. Your teacher will explain different techniques to portray the smoothness of a dolphin and the patterns of tropical fish. Whilst exploring different styles and practices you’ll create a fun series of drawings inspired by sea creatures.
MONDAY 10th OCTOBER – 6:30PM – 7:30PM UK TIME
The Grove – Texture & Tone
In this class we delve into the grove. A horse and fox will serve as inspiration to learn techniques to create texture and tone in your work. Your teacher will demonstrate how to break down what you see in simple shapes and develop depth to portray these magnificent creatures.
